I took my friend out for lunch here to try somewhere new, and it was truly a great choice. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. I will definitely be back.
It was very good food with amazing views! The service was excellent and plenty of parking spaces.
If you want decent Thai food with an ocean view, Swan Thai in PV is the place to go. They have a phenomenal location. I love the ocean view and outdoor seating on their patio! It's a cute place and there are a ton of tables. It's also a great place for groups. My friend had her wedding rehearsal dinner here and it was wonderful! However, the Thai food here is not amazing... just decent. The Jasmine milk tea tasted more like Thai Tea and was way too sweet for me. Their Pad Thai and Pad See Ew were just okay--not great but not bad. I've definitely had better Thai food at other spots like Bowl Thai in Gardena (the best in the South Bay)! I really enjoyed their Tom Yum soup though. Keep in mind they have a 1.5 hour time limit for tables. Service was fine but a tad bit slow-- it didn't bother us though because we were not in a rush and gave us a chance to admire more of the ocean view and fresh air. Parking: free in plaza lot.
Great food, view, and service. Great spot to go with the family on the holidays. Make a reservation during rush hours!
Favorite place to visit when I'm at Palos Verdes. We ordered their - green curry with salmon, pad thai, paradise fried rice, green papaya salad, and crispy coconut shrimp. The papaya salad was very fresh and crunchy, it went well with all the dishes. Coconut shrimps had a very strong coconut flavor/kick. I would get the green curry again, but without the salmon, it was very flavorful and good. Their classic fried rice and pad thai was delicious as always! Friendly workers and great service! Lots of parking, outside seating with a beach view. Reserve online on their website!
I love a good view so I had to try this place out! I'm a little sad we got there too late and it was pretty much too dark out to see anything. Very cute outdoor restaurant with no indoor seating. I'd imagine it's perfect in the summer. Surprisingly being outside in November at 7 p.m it wasn't as cold as I expected. They have heaters all over. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious! I had the pad se ew with chicken and my husband had the Tom Kha soup with noodles and he devoured it. We shared a larb salad which was soo good but definitely too spicy for me. I can't wait to return to catch the sunset next time
I had a great experience at Swan Thai Rancho Palos Verdes. The ambiance was inviting, with lots of great outdoor seating surrounded with heaters and flowers. Outdoor dining was very comfortable. Service was excellent. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I ordered the rare steak pho and was very impressed with the quality and flavor of the steak and broth. To drink, I had a strawberry slushy which was perfect as well. Swan Thai RPV has a very solid menu and a welcoming environment. I would come
What a beautiful spot in Rancho Palos Verdes! We had a reservation on open table but it probably wasn't necessarily since there was plenty of room on Friday. They sat us at the corner which is great because you get the ocean view for nice pictures. In terms of food it's an upscale Thai restaurant that is pricey but definitely one of the best tasting Thai foods I've had. Tried out these items. Tom Yum - Not too sour which actually made this so good. Perfectly seasoned and good flavor. Must get. (5/5) Crab fried Rice - Surprised how good this was. Comes with a fried egg on top that was so bomb. Another must get classic. (5/5) Pad Se Eew - Very good classic dish. Got seafood and yeah it's pricey but at least it's delicious. (4.5/5) Roasted Duck Curry - Wow they give you quite a bit of Duck and the curry was flavorful. Can't go wrong, it's bomb. (5/5) Mango Sticky Rice - It came in a heart shape and portions were food to share. It was red rice and overall we loved it. They cut the mango into tiny little pieces. (4.5/5) Overall besides the price this place serves up amazing food with an amazing view. The parking area looks pretty upscale too. We paid $121 for 5 people (4 entree/1 dessert) and left full. Portions here are pretty sizable!
We stopped by for lunch after our hike and really appreciated how all dining is outdoors with an ocean view in sight. The space was large and comfortable. We opened with two drinks - Jasmine Green Milk Tea and a Thai Tea. Both drinks were really good, not too sweet. I've definitely had better boba but would not fault this place at all given it's not a boba shop. Dishes came out - Pad Thai with Chicken and Pad See Ew with Beef. Both dishes were good and portioned quite generously! It was a satisfying meal altogether. Staff were pleasant. They checked in periodically and also provided water for our pup, which as appreciated.
